In the Poltava penitentiary institution No. 23 on the evening of November 29, Veronika Motorina died, who in February last year shot the instructor in the shooting range. A few months ago, the girl was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

It is noted that the night before, the girl did not eat anything all day, only drank coffee and smoked cigarettes. At some point, she had an epileptic seizure. It was not possible to save the convict.

According to the head of the Poltava Regional Center for Emergency Medical Aid Dmitry Lavrenko, the call to doctors was received on November 29 at 19:32.
“Doctors performed resuscitation measures. At 20:53 they stated the biological death of the girl,” he said in a comment. “Public”.
But the lawyer of the deceased, Andrei Evdokimenko, said that he had no information about the death of the convict.
For its part, the local edition “Poltava region” writes that by the time the medical team arrived, the girl was already dead, and the employees of the pre-trial detention center tried to revive her.
Note that in September, when the court elected Motorina a sentence of 15 years in prison, she tried to commit suicide… In particular, the girl cut her veins, but survived.

Recall that the murder happened in February last year: At that time, 18-year-old Motorina, after a quarrel with a guy, decided to go to the shooting range and shot twice at the 64-year-old instructor Igor Smolyaninov. The second instructor managed to stop the girl with the weapon.
