In police custody, then in hospital after refusing to obey Bourges

The man is accused of attempting to flee the police before ending his run at a light pole, rue Louis-de-Raynal, in Bourges. He tested positive for drugs.

His police detention had to be interrupted on Monday evening because the man suffered a broken wrist and was taken to the Bourges hospital, the prosecution said. Police custody is expected to resume when he leaves the hospital.

He is accused of rebellion, endangering the lives of others and damaging the public domain, in addition to refusal to obey and drug driving.
