In Poland, new restrictions on Covid-19 have been introduced since Saturday, including the closure of theaters, galleries and other cultural institutions.
Pupils between the ages of seven and nine learn at a distance, similarly to senior pupils.
Closed shops in shopping centers, except grocery stores, pharmacies and service stores.
In shops with an area of less than 100 square meters and in churches, the number of visitors is even more limited.
Hotels may only accommodate business guests.
These restrictions will be valid at least until November 29.
The current restrictions, such as the ban on gathering more than five people and the decision to close swimming pools and gyms, have also been extended until 29 November.
In Poland, it is mandatory for people to wear masks in all public places.
If the new restrictions do not yield the expected results, the next step will be national quarantine, Prime Minister Mateusz Moraveckis said.
However, even in the most optimistic scenario, it is expected that 25,000 to 30,000 people will be infected per day, the Minister of Health Ādams Nedzelskis has indicated.
