In Piedmont, schools have the obligation to measure the temperature of students

An order signed by the president of the Piedmont Region obliges schools to measure the temperature of students before entering school.

If the institution cannot do this, it will have to provide for a daily verification mechanism (through a self-certification that can be provided in the electronic register, in the diary or on a specific form) to check that the temperature has actually been measured by the family.

If the student does not have the self-certification with him, the school will have the obligation to measure the fever to allow him / her to enter the classroom, also making use of the volunteers of the associations, such as Civil Protection and Carabinieri.

The Piedmont Region, to guarantee this procedure, has allocated 500,000 euros for the purchase of thermometers or thermoscanners.
