“I know everything about Colapinto before he arrived in Formula 1 because of my father, who tells me all the news about motorsports,” says Romina, who is the daughter of Oscar “Cacho” Fangiorecognized runner of the Road Tourism circuits. “Something resonated in my head when I heard Colapinto in an interview saying that my grandfather had been one of his idols. That same day, I wanted to create a work that reflected the energy and commitment with which they approach their careers. He conveys something that I have rarely seen in other runners and that my grandfather also had: humility,” she says. The work is based on a photograph of Williams that Romina digitally intervened.
