Syrian actress Kinda Alloush was awarded by the Cairo International Short Film Festival for her films Exodus and Two Swimmers.
Kinda posted her photos during the honor, through her official account on the ‘Instagram’ site.
Kinda commented on the photos saying, “Happy and grateful to be honored at the Cairo International Short Film Festival following the excellence and success of the films Exodus and The Two Swimmers. professors Yousry Nasrallah and Marianne Khoury, those who have the passion and lack the skills to start their journey in the world of film directing.
On the other hand, Kinda Alloush participated in the series “Stat Beit Maadi”, with Engy Al-Moqaddam, Mirhan Hussein, Tara Imad, Engy Kiwan, Intisar, Nihal Kamal Al-Mahdi, Amira Al-Aydi, Sherif Hafez, Ahmed Wafik , Sabri Fawaz, Youssef Omar and directed by Mohamed Salama.
Kinda Alloush also recently screened her new film “Exodus” at the Venice International Film Festival. The events of the film “Exodus” take place in Syria during the conflicts of the past years, where a missile destroys the roof of the 14- Zina’s house Hala Zain”, a one-year-old girl, after which she sleeps under the stars for the first time. And she befriends Amer, the boy next door, and as the violence escalates, her mother, Hala “Kinda Alloush”, insists on leaving and comes into conflict with her husband, Moataz, “Samer Al-Masry”, who he refuses to become a refugee and prevents his family from leaving home.
The film was written and directed by Sudad Kaadan and shot in Turkey, produced by Zajal Productions (Sudad Kaadan) and Berkeley Media Group (U-Vision), co-produced by X-Nile (Mark Burdur) and stars Kinda Alloush , Samer Al -Masry.
