The Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, inaugurated today the Prince Muhammad bin Fahd Hospital for Hereditary Blood Diseases in the Emirate’s court, in the presence of the Minister of Health Tawfiq Al-Rabiah and a number of health sector leaders.
The Minister reviewed the functioning of the Eastern Corona vaccination centers, and reviewed the procedures followed at Al Faisaliah Health Center in Dammam.
The Minister of Health emphasized that the Eastern Region is one of the most developed regions in the Kingdom in terms of health. This is due to the significant support provided by the leadership to the health sector.
On February 18, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority authorized the use of the British “AstraZeneca” vaccine, which was developed by the company in cooperation with the University of Oxford.
