In Panama, 68% of the population is vaccinated with two doses of the anticovid vaccine

Until last Friday, 68% of the population in Panama was vaccinated with two doses of the vaccine against covid-19, reported the Ministry of Health (Minsa).

While 84% of the population has first doses of the vaccine.

According to the report issued by the Expanded Program on Immunization (PAI) to date, 5,456,523 doses of covid-19 vaccines have been applied in Panama.

Of this total, 747,289 have been applied doses of the formula developed by the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca and 4,709,234 from Pfizer, according to the PAI report.

The AstraZeneca vaccine in Panama is being applied voluntarily to women and men over 30 years of age.
