No one could dispute that we excel at “Maimudism”, attempting to copy and adapt international (also stupid) trends, but which involve people who have influence over many millions of others.
We are producing more influencers from California as well.
Red carpets, parties, poses, details about their outfits… and one question. Who knows them? Why should I care if a co-star on a third-rate soap opera showed up with a bloated belly or was photographed with her mom making palooze?
Why should I click on the title: “Lament for …”, to be informed that his beloved hamster fell ill with a cough?
If I could describe the definition of “kitsch” in two words, I would say that it is what pretends to be something, which it is not.
So we are living in a dominance of “kitsch”, which the world famous so-and-so thinks that if she wears the same dress as Princess Kate, she will be reduced to a courtier. But these are for the poor (in pocket and spirit). The rich have another kind of trick. They have parties, themed birthdays for their children, galas (as if they knew it from their village) and charity appearances, where the only charity heard is, “find her/him black-bearded!”
Carnivals are coming again and so we enter a factory settings program, as it is known that we are by nature for carnivals.
