The gendarmes opened an investigation supervised by the prosecution from Argentan. The facts probably took place on the night of Saturday to Sunday, “Because we cannot imagine the perpetrator (s) acting like this in broad daylight when it is a place where horse breeders pass every day”, adds the mayor. The corpse was autopsied to determine the causes of the filly’s death.
Second case in a weekend
The same weekend, another body of a mutilated mare was found in the Orne, in the town of Perche-en-Nocé. Here too, human intervention does not do everything, according to the prosecutor of the Republic of Alençon.
