TULUNGAGUNG, KOMPAS.TV The father of a KRI Nanggala-402 crew member, Matroji Sudiarjo (54), conveyed a special request to the head of the village where he lives. He asked the people of Pulotondo Village, Ngunut District, Tulungagung Regency to pray through the mosque and prayer room, so that their child could be found immediately.

The eldest son of Matroji, First Sailor (Machine) Muhammad Faqihudin Munir (26) is one of 53 crew members in KRI Nanggala-402. The ship was declared to have lost contact in the waters north of Bali on Wednesday (21/4/2021), and last Saturday it was declared that the submarine sunk or the ship could not rise to the surface.

“I ask to be announced at the prayer room or mosque. In order to pray for my child so that he can be found quickly, “he said, Saturday (24/4/2021).

Matroji added that Faqihudin last called on Monday (19/4/2021). At that time, his eldest son said goodbye to sail from Surabaya to Bali.

“If the telephone is sure to tell you where you want to go sailing, keep asking for prayers to be safe,” said Matroji.
