Immunization itself plays an important role in protecting children from various risks of dangerous diseases that can be prevented from an early age.
Chief of Medical Halodoc, dr. Irwan Heriyanto, MARS, said that the level of immunity (antibody) formed in infants is better than children who have reached an older age. So that most immunizations are given when the baby is 6 months old, with several types of immunizations that need to be re-administered after the child is 1 year old (booster) to maintain antibody levels in the long term.
“Child immunization carried out according to schedule is expected to be a very effective preventive measure to protect children from at least 26 infectious diseases,” said Dr. Irwan in his official statement, recently.
“Of course, the ease of immunizing children at home will really help children get the right to access health services during the pandemic, especially at PPKM Level 4,” he continued.

He explained that currently there are five types of immunizations available on the Halodoc platform through this home-to-child immunization service, including various immunization packages for DTP, Polio, Influenza, and Hepatitis B which can be selected as needed.
