In Odessa, a 36-year-old woman hijacked a tow truck and caused an accident on it. According to media reports, the offender has been put on the wanted list since April 1 of this year as a mentally ill person who has left home or a medical institution.
This was announced on Saturday evening, October 16, “Duma“, referring to information from law enforcement agencies. The publication became aware of the identity of the hijacker. Previously, this is a resident of Vinnitsa Malvina G.
During a road accident, a hijacked Mitsubishi Canter 60 crashed into a trolleybus. Nothing was reported about the victims.
The accident happened on October 15 on Svyatoslav Richter Street. Note that the tow truck was hijacked from Akademik Filatov Street. The woman, according to “Dumskaya”, fled from the scene of the accident, but was detained at Spartakovskaya.
Earlier, the 36-year-old offender was repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility: for drunk driving, as well as domestic violence.
Recall that in September 2021, 16,779 accidents occurred in Ukraine, as evidenced by the statistics of the Patrol Police. This is 4.5% more than in the same period in 2020.
In September of this year, 292 people were killed in car accidents, and another 2,754 were injured.
