Reported from Reuters (7/5/2022), a recent study found that obesity can reduce the effectiveness of the Covid-19 vaccine in people who have never been exposed to the virus before.

The study from Turkey was carried out on people who had never been infected with Covid-19 before and had received the Pfizer and Sinovac vaccines.

The results of this study were then presented last week at the European Congress on Obesity in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
