In NYC, a dog walker is attacked by a motorcyclist following a request to reduce speed, says police.

NEW YORK — A 52-year-old man walking his dog in the Upper East Side before sunset a day ago he was attacked by a motorcyclist and pulled over for reckless driving, police said Wednesday.

The victim came out with her canine near East 90th Street y First Avenue around 7 p.m. when he told NYPD officers he saw a green motorcycle driving too fast, police said. The dog’s owner asked the motorcyclist to slow down, at which point the man approached the dog’s owner and punched him in the face multiple times with a closed fist.

The dog’s owner fell to the ground in the middle of the beating, and police say the motorcyclist continued to punch him in the face before driving east on East 90th Street. The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to be fine.

No injuries to the dog were reported.

Police released surveillance footage of the motorcyclist and his motorcycle (above).

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-57-PISTA.
