The New York police reported that a car collided with a group of protesters at a crossing in Manhattan on Friday afternoon, reiterating that the driver had already been taken into custody.

The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. local time, at the intersections of East 39th Street and Third Avenue in the Murray Hill neighborhood.
At the moment the number of people injured and by the passage of the vehicle is unknown. The NYPD asked the population to avoid the area “due to a vehicular collision involving several pedestrians.”
