In a field near the village of Novoingulka, there was a conflict over controversial land issues between two groups of men.
In the Nikolaev area, as a result of a land conflict, shooting occurred in the field. Two people were injured informs regional office of the National Police on Friday, May 14.
“Information that a shooting occurred in a field within the village of Novoingulka was received by special line 102 at about 21:30 on May 13. According to preliminary data, the conflict occurred over disputed land issues between two groups of citizens, during which the shooting began,” – the message says.
Two men from both sides of the conflict were injured. The injured were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds to their legs.
Law enforcers seized a carbine at the scene. At the same time, the chief of police of the Nikolaev region put into effect a special police operation.
On this fact, investigators are conducting an investigation under articles on hooliganism with the use of weapons, illegal handling of weapons, ammunition (part 4 of article 296, part 1 of article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The sanctions articles provide for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to seven years.
