In Nikolaev, the police detained a 33-year-old man who is suspected of murdering a resident of the Cherkasy region in a rented apartment in the city center. The Nikolaev taxi driver met the victim on the Internet.
This is stated in the message press service Ministry of Internal Affairs. It is known that the suspect and the victim made an appointment in advance.
According to law enforcement officers, the man arrived at the apartment of a new acquaintance and allegedly killed her with two shots to the head. Moreover, he stole about 6,000 hryvnias from his house. After the crime was committed, the taxi driver tried to hide his tracks: he collected everything he touched in a bag and took it with him.
On March 18, during a special operation, the criminal was detained in Nikolaev. A pistol, a revolver with a silencer and cartridges were found in the interior of the attacker’s car. The man is charged with premeditated murder and illegal handling of weapons and ammunition (part 1 of article 115 of the Criminal Code, part 1 of article 263 of the Criminal Code). He faces a sentence of up to 15 years in prison.

As reported OBOZREVATEL, in Nikolaev a man shot his wife, and then he killed himself. Their bodies were found in the house by their daughter.
