In New York several banks are robbed within days of each other

NEW YORK.- Several commercial banks have been robbed within days of this city, managing to collect the total amount of $ 4,202 dollars, the police reported.

On May 6, the Citibank branch, located on Jackson Avenue and 21st Street, in Queens, was robbed at around 12:00 noon. The thief fled with $ 1,115.

On the 11th the same man at about 3:00 in the afternoon robbed a Chase branch, located at 24-16 in South Queens Square. The outlaw managed to take $ 760.

Then, on May 12 at around 8:50 in the morning, the TD Bank branch, located on Lexington Avenue and 45th Street, in Manhattan, was attacked. The criminal managed to take $ 568 dollars.

Craig Gernett, 42, suspected of robbing bank branches, is actively pursued by a squad of detectives.

He is described with brown eyes, multiple tattoos, even on his hands, and an earring on his left ear. He is approximately 5 ′ 7 ″ and weighs 160 pounds.
