In New York, French artist JR unveils work in support of Iranian women

Hundreds of people gather on New York’s Roosevelt Island to attend one of French artist JR’s participatory performances. Dressed in dark colors, the participants played the hair of Nika Shakarami, a 16-year-old Iranian woman who disappeared and died after taking part in a demonstration in Tehran.
