In New York for the UN General Assembly, Bolsonaro forced to eat pizza on a sidewalk

Shortly before the UN General Assembly, the Brazilian president was caught eating a pizza on a New York sidewalk. Jair Bolsonaro, who claims not to be vaccinated against Covid-19, cannot indeed go to restaurants in the city. Proof of vaccination is currently required in order to dine inside.

“Luxury dinner in New York,” tweeted Luiz Eduardo Ramos, the Minister of the Secretariat of the Presidency, alongside the Brazilian president enjoying a slice of pizza with several members of his delegation, in the shared photo. Tourism Minister Gilson Machado also posted a photo on Instagram, joking that it was pizza and Coke for dinner.
