Last Tuesday, there was one more happy couple in New York – the wedding of a Latvian and a Lithuanian took place there. Atis proposed to his beloved Pauļus already seven years ago at the beginning of their friendship.
According to “Privatā Dzīve”, both gentlemen were dressed for the wedding – in “Gucci” brand coats and jackets with fur trim. The marriage was concluded in an office in New York, where same-sex couples have been able to marry for 12 years. After getting married, both shopped at a delicatessen and continued to celebrate their love in a hotel.
This is not Artemyev’s first marriage. He married an American woman 14 years ago, they have a son, Alexander Charles, who is 11 years old. Although the couple had disagreements about Ata’s right to see their son during the divorce period, everything is fine now.
