UNUSUAL – Not Spider-Man’s Green Goblin, but like Norman Osborn’s character, a man walked through Times Square in New York City riding a hoverboard. The scene filmed on June 22 has gone viral on social media.
It’s a happening that caught the attention of onlookers strolling through one of New York’s most famous squares. A man dressed all in black, flying several feet above the ground and crossing Times Square on a giant hoverboard.
It is a 28 year old American, Hunter Kowald, who is an engineer and passionate about stunts. He himself imagined and made this machine for several years. Called “SkySurfer”, “sky surfer” in French, the object is estimated at $ 20,000.

The home told ABC New York: “I guess over the years I’ve become interested in the art of flight. I tried to see if it would one day be possible or sustainable to be able to fly on a smaller device for everyday use ”. Millions of people watched the video of Hunter Kowald surfing Seventh Avenue. And many have compared him to Spider-Man’s famous nemesis, the Green Goblin.
The airspace is heavily regulated in New York, flying with drone-like devices without permission is prohibited. The engineer said he had completed all the paperwork before this flight. New York Police said they would verify this information.
