in Nantes, a restaurant offers burgers to students

As part of a solidarity operation, the Diners Burger restaurants in Nantes and Rezé (Loire-Atlantique) are offering burgers to students this Sunday, April 25.

Distance learning, isolation, difficulties in finding a student job… The students of Nantes, like all of France, have been hit hard by the health crisis for over a year. Faced with this situation, many initiatives have emerged to help young people to feed themselves and allow them to get together for a meal.

This Sunday, April 25, it’s the turn of the Nantes brand Diners Burger to offer free burgers on presentation of a valid student card in its two restaurants in Nantes and Rezé.

“They are in difficulty, we must support them”

“If this distribution can help even one student, we will have won our bet!”, says Sébastien Leroy, founder of Diners Burger 12 years ago.

Students are our customers, our employees. Without them, the Diner’s Burger would not have been so successful. Today, they are in difficulty, we must support them.

The operation started on Saturday April 24 with the distribution of 500 burgers. This Sunday, 500 other burgers will be distributed free of charge between 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. During the first confinement in March 2020, the restaurant had already organized a free distribution to caregivers.
