“In Nancy, ten years later …”

How was your arrival at Sluc Nancy?

“I was at the end of my contract with Poitiers and I was looking for a new opportunity, a club with ambition. Nancy introduced herself to me and I accepted. I still spent three years there in training and I am from the region. To me, it was more obvious. “

Have you had the opportunity to come back to it in the past?

“No, because I had been under contract for five or six years. I was never free until now. “

Did you already know Sylvain Lautié?

“I got it on the phone, but we didn’t know each other before. It will be a discovery for me, a new coach. We will have to adapt. “

In a familiar environment …

“Yes, I know a lot of people at the club and it will actually be much easier to see my family. When you go through a training center, you always have the hope of becoming professional with it. Well, for me, this is done ten years later … “

“The Betclic Elite? It’s not an obsession ”

What will you remember from your last season?

“Changing clubs in January had never happened to me. It was a first for me. We had to adapt, I hadn’t played for a long time but it really did me good to get some playing time and get back in shape physically. The coach trusted me, I was able to find sensations. It was a really intense season physically with this series of matches and it is a shame not to have been able to maintain Poitiers. There are no regrets, because everyone gave everything, but it’s a disappointment nonetheless. I wish this club to quickly return to Pro B. ”

Do you want to find the Pro A (Betclic Elite)?

“It’s not an obsession. My goal is above all to succeed in joining my club and to be able to express myself there afterwards. I will first take the matches one after the other and we’ll see later. “

You have already played and obtained a climb with Roanne …

“Yes, but I didn’t play again until a year and a half later because I got injured. The coach and the objectives had changed in the meantime… ”

Don’t you feel like you always have an upset history with the elite?

“I have played there twice already (with Gravelines and Roanne) and I prefer to retain the positive. I gained experience each time and that is also part of a career. For me, the most important thing today is the field. And to have fun. “
