Solidarity does not weaken for Ukraine, affected by the war for nearly two weeks. Tuesday, March 8, 2022, the town hall of Montauban (Tarn-et-Garonne) installed a ballot box to collect cash donations for Ukrainians.
In connection with the Red Cross
After solidarity collection operations and the illumination in blue and yellow of several places in the city, Montauban move up a gear in terms of support for Ukraine.
Since this Tuesday, March 8, 2022, in connection with the Red Cross, a money donation operation has been carried out via a ballot box, installed in the reception of the Town Hall.
It will be possible to access it during Opening hours from the town hall, in other words from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
In connection with the Red Cross, this ballot box is installed in the reception of the Town Hall for anyone wishing to donate money by means of a check to be made payable to “CROIX ROUGE FRENCH – UKRAINE CONFLICT 2022”.
Financial aid, reception of refugees…
In addition, the town hall of Montauban will carry out other support actions. She announced that she was “continuing her work to implement other support actions”. Financial aid and participation in welcoming refugees are particularly discussed.
