The Chamber of Accounts of Moldova conducted an audit of the management of the vaccination process and revealed a lot of violations.

In Moldova, during the audit, the Chamber of Accounts revealed a number of serious violations in the management of the vaccination process in the country. In particular, seven thousand citizens received vaccinations against coronavirus with vaccines, the expiration date of which has already expired. On Thursday, December 16, reports Guard newspaper.

Also, the auditors found that 2.5 thousand people were vaccinated out of turn. The inspection body also suspected the “veracity” of 71,000 vaccination certificates.

“Poor management and the lack of key controls in the immunization process have led to mistakes that can affect the health of citizens,” said Irina Rogacheva, head of the General Audit Office.

The report says that since the beginning of vaccination Moldova received 2 million doses, of which 1.6 million were used. At the same time, 1.5 million doses (75%) worth 188.4 million lei were donated to Moldova. The general level of vaccination of the population is 27.3%.
