It is with deep sadness that we announce that today our colleague and friend – the artist Stefan Lyutov, died… Condolences to the relatives! Bright memory! This was announced by the Society of Plovdiv Artists after information from his relatives. The service will be on December 12 at 11 a.m. in the church of the Central Cemetery – Plovdiv. Stefan Lutov died after a serious illness. Friends and colleagues of the family expressed their condolences on social media.
“Goodbye Stefcho, you leave a mark in our hearts, we your friends are sad, we will miss you, I will miss the poems, the paintings and your smiling face! Bright path”, wrote Angel Angelov.
“Condolences, wonderful person! Broad-minded, creative, appreciator of the beautiful in all dimensions! May his soul find peace!”, added Mariana Kuvendzhieva.
Stefan Lutov was born on March 8, 1947 in Plovdiv. He graduated from Veliko Tarnovo University “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” majoring in graphics under Nikolay Hadjitanev and painting under Vasil Stoilov. From 1985 to 1995 he was engaged in applied graphics.
He arranged quite a few solo exhibitions in Plovdiv, Sofia, Varna, Pazardzhik and the Albena resort. He participated in national general exhibitions in Sofia and the country. With international participation in the cities of Brno and Poznan – Poland. His paintings are owned by private collections in Turkey , Greece, Italy, France.
