The character “Qenawi” is one of the characters that the late artist Mohamed Tawfiq was named for, and because of him, the late director Youssef Chahine was followed by accusations.
The late artist Mohamed Tawfiq, whose birthday is today, Thursday, October 24, as he was born on this day in 1908, revealed details of his pursuit of director Youssef Chahine , in an interview with journalist Mofid Fawzi.

Youssef Shaheen, for his part, mentioned what Muhammad Tawfiq said, and in an interview with journalist Mufid Fawzi, he said: “If I had wanted it, I would have believed it.
The late artist Mohamed Tawfiq passed away from our world, at the age of 95, in 2003.
