For this year, the Lima Film Festival will create an exhibition in honor of actor Diego Bertie one year after his death. The production is called ‘In Memorian Diego Bertie’. In it, the film ‘Under the Skin’ will be screened, a film that is a reference for the actor, and one of the most demanded Peruvian films today.
The production, directed by Francisco Lombardi, had José Luis Ruiz, Gianfranco Brero and Ana Risueño in the cast. The story is a police investigation, where the policeman Percy Corso must study about a series of murders inspired by the Mochica culture in Palle, along with a forensic pathologist and a professor who is an expert on the Moche.
Released in 1996, ‘Bajo el Piel’ received positive reviews, as it touched on issues related to society, as well as exploring in depth classic plots from the world of cinema such as passionate drama and thriller.
