The writer Tamer Habib mourned the screenwriter Tamer Abdel Hamid, who died yesterday morning, after a battle with cancer.
Habib posted a picture of the deceased on his Instagram account and said: “May God have mercy on him, forgive him, and live in his spacious gardens, and encourage his family with the patience of the most beautiful person possible.” “
He continued: “I sat for a while and couldn’t write him an obituary because I didn’t believe him and stayed on his page to write a lie fighting cancer with a smile, a high fighting spirit , and hope in God so much that I could have believed his death for anything but this disease, which I thought was weak, subdued by a smile and a sweet spirit .”
He said: “I was looking forward to reading his diaries at the Nasser Institute and his discussion of illness and treatment, which he would describe, as usual, in a humorous and poignant way, giving him hope every patient day he came to the theater attendant attending a performance of the play Tayeb and Amir, and the next day he went to take a dose of chemotherapy is it with your light blood and with your sweet spirit as it spread you us in the life of this world.
It should be noted that the late screenwriter Tamer Abdel Hamid wrote the film “Goblin Transit,” starring Bayoumi Fouad, the Saudi series “Under Investigation,” and the series “Captain Azouz,” starring Sameh Hussein.
The deceased participated in the writing of many series, including: Shadow of the President, Birth Certificate, Sitcom Tamer and Shawqia, Mama’s Goose, Al-Bab Fi Al-Bab, Alam Semsem, and Bakkar.
