In Memoriam: Actor David McCallum, Star of ‘The Man from Uncle’ and ‘NCIS’, Passes Away at 90

Los Angeles: Actor David McCallum (90), who made a name for himself in the 1960s hit series ‘The Man from Uncle’, has passed away. Died at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

He also played an autopsy expert in over 450 episodes of NCIS. In 1968, he received Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominations for his portrayal of Russian agent Ilya Kuryakes in The Man from Uncle. He also played notable roles in films like ‘A Night to Remember’ and ‘The Great Escape’. Born in Scotland, McCallum’s parents were musicians. Therefore, McCallum started in the field of music. Also gained attention through symphony orchestras.
