In the 16th week of the 31st Latvian Maxibasketball Championship, a total of nine games were played in Riga, Limbaži, Ventspils, Locikos and Jelgava. The trio of the most effective players – Zane Lapsiņa (BK “Augšdaugava novads”), Ęirts Spēlmanis and Guntars Dīķis (both “Kursa MRU/Mārupe”).
In the D30+ age group game, Daugavpils BK “Augšdaugavas novadas” defeated “Rīga Mix” 78:51. Zane Lapsiņa played 40 minutes, scored 34 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in the winning team. Shooting accuracy: two-pointers – 10/5, three-pointers – 17/8. In total, Lapsiņa has 35 efficiency points.
“Kursa MRU/Mārupe” beat “Krown Restorfx” with 97:61 in the battle of the two leading teams of the K40+ group. In the team of winners, Đirts Spēlmanis played 26 minutes, scored 24 points, won eight rebounds, completed three assists. Shooting accuracy: two-pointers – 11/7, three-pointers – 3/2, free throws – 4/4. In total, the Player has 31 efficiency points.
The player’s teammate Guntars Dīkis played 23 minutes, scored 25 points, won four rebounds, completed four assists. Shooting accuracy: 2-pointers – 4/4, 3-pointers – 8/5, free throws – 2/2. A total of 30 efficiency points for Dīkim.
