According to news from IT House on April 7, Foton Motor announced the production and sales data bulletin for March. The sales volume of automobiles was 68,600, compared with 60,956 in the same period last year; the number of new energy vehicles was 3,107, compared with 1,555 in the same period last year. The output of automobiles in the month was 68,040, compared with 62,779 in the same period last year; the output of new energy vehicles was 3,237, compared with 2,446 in the same period last year.
From January to March, automobile sales totaled 160,237 units, a year-on-year increase of 14.44%; new energy vehicle sales totaled 6,996 units, a year-on-year increase of 118.69%. The cumulative output of automobiles was 149,807, a year-on-year increase of 5.45%; the cumulative output of new energy vehicles was 6,543, a year-on-year increase of 50.69%.
