In Mangistau, an adult and two children were injured by firecrackers on New Year’s Eve

news-id-118006" style="display:inline;">On the night from December 31 to January 1, 2024, the control room of the Mangistau regional ambulance and emergency medical care station received 1,216 calls from residents of the region. The work of dispatchers and paramedics has doubled.

Calls were received regarding seven road traffic accidents and two stabbings. Three people – one adult and two children – were injured by firecrackers.

The press service of the Mangistau Regional Multidisciplinary Hospital informed that one person was hospitalized after a traffic accident. Three victims of the accident were released home after receiving assistance. An adult injured by firecrackers was also hospitalized. There were no cases of poisoning.
