The tragedy occurred on the eve of 21:15 in one of the villages of the Yavoriv district.
A 31-year-old local was driving a car in reverse in his yard and ran into his own two-year-old daughter. The child died from his injuries.
Investigators opened criminal proceedings under the article on violation of traffic safety rules.
Earlier it was reported that in the Lviv region the truck entered the store, four people were killed.
