They are called Lena, Kira or Yulia, they have lived in Brittany for two, three or fifteen years and have known each other for a few days or forever. These women of Ukrainian origin met this Tuesday noon to share, exchange and support each other.

Every minute I hold my phone in my hands to be in touch. This morning, he wrote me a message but for about three hours, I have nothing. I wrote to him but he hasn’t read it yet.

Breton husbands are also mobilizing. They have just organized a spontaneous humanitarian aid. Two trucks have already left for Poland since Sunday. In a few days, another will leave Lorient, to help and relieve, as much as possible, the victims of this war in Ukraine.
