In Lidl, you can pay with a meal voucher other than ours

Salable Lidl from October 5 they will start receiving meal vouchers and meal voucher cards from Sodexo. So far, Lidl only accepts its own brand of our meal vouchers.

“Sodexo is the largest provider of benefits in the Czech Republic. With this partnership, we want to enable this group of customers to pay in our stores as well, “said Iveta Barabášová, spokeswoman for Lidl.

“By establishing cooperation and connecting Lidl stores to our network, we provide 700,000 holders of meal vouchers and meal voucher cards with another opportunity to buy food,” says Tereza Knířová, spokesperson for Sodexo Benefity.

Different chains accept different meal vouchers. For example, Albert, Billa or Tesco accept payment by meal vouchers from Sodexo (Gastro Pass), Edenred (Ticket Restaurant) and Le Check Déjeuner / UP Czech Republic (Chéque Déjeuner meal vouchers). Kaufland only accepts Our Meal Vouchers and Ticket Restaurant, Penny Market Meal Vouchers Ticket Restaurant and Check Dejeuner.
