A vehicle on loan from strangers
The driver is a 19-year-old young man. He says he spent the evening in Harfleur where he drank and claims the vehicle was loaned to him by people he doesn’t know. Back in Le Havre, he claims to have taken care of the other two young men that he would not have known either. Despite the searches with the municipal video surveillance, the police were unable to find the passengers of the vehicle. If the route indicated by the driver has been confirmed, the police doubt that the arrested person does not know his passengers.
The accused is subject to a appearance upon admission of guilt scheduled for February 7, 2023 for vehicle theft concealment, refusal to comply, lack of license, drunk driving and refusal to undergo a blood alcohol and drug test.
