In KTB, it is an assassination, not a liquidity crisis –

/ world today news/ Her clients should temporarily open accounts in other banks

In this case, we are talking about an assassination, not a liquidity crisis. The bank is not sick. This is how the financier and former deputy governor of the BNB, Emil Hersev, commented on what is happening with KTB. I’m talking about an assassination because it can also be a murder. But now we are only talking about an assassination, he added, quoted by novini.bg.

I could not understand why the prosecutor’s office in this way contributed to the intensification of the crisis, Hersev wonders.

The BNB cannot be blamed for drawing a conclusion based on data. This also happens with synoptic forecasts, Hersev was categorical. He described the actions of the supervisor as absolutely normal. According to him, they work quickly and efficiently. The conservators have very serious experience, the financier emphasized.

Asked to comment on why there was a disagreement between the opinion of the BNB and the Minister of Finance Petar Chobanov, Emil Hersev replied: “There is no disagreement, events are developing quickly. The central bank makes the decisions, not the finance minister.”

When asked what will happen to the bank’s majority shareholder, Emil Hersev said: “I can’t guess. I don’t know this financial group. Yes, I know they are related, but I can’t figure out what the relationship is between them. Until those claims are filed, it’s anyone’s guess.”

Hersev advised people, customers of KTB, to open accounts in other banks. “There is no problem at all to provide such an interim financing, considering that on July 20 they will be able to have their money again,” the expert suggested.

Asked whether state-owned companies really withdrew large sums of money from these banks, Emil Hersev pointed out: “That’s what they say, but there are no official data.”
