In Kiev, on Shevchenko Boulevard in the direction of Bessarabskaya Square, a partial restriction of traffic was introduced due to the risk of a repeated collapse of the road surface. This was reported by the press service KGGA.

It is noted that the restriction of movement is caused by the danger of a repeated collapse of the asphalt pavement due to a drop in pressure in the water supply system at the site of the recent collapse.

“To prevent further accidents, the specialists of PJSC AK Kievvodokanal will change part of the pipeline. At present, traffic on Shevchenko Boulevard is partially limited. But depending on the scale of work, a complete blockage of the passage is possible,” the message says.

Recall that on December 12, due to an accident on the water supply networks on the carriageway of Taras Shevchenko Boulevard in Kiev, failure of the asphalt pavement, in connection with which traffic on all lanes of the boulevard in the direction of Khreshchatyk Street was blocked. Movement was resumed on December 13 in the morning.
