In Kharkov, near the entrance of a multi-storey building found the body of a baby in a bag. According to preliminary information, the mother of the child turned out to be 22 year old girl.
The incident occurred on Yesenin Street at about nine o’clock on Thursday evening, December 6. This was reported in The Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region.
The leaders and investigators of the Kharkiv District Police Department No. 3 went to the scene. They took a number of measures to find the parents of the deceased child, as well as to establish possible witnesses. In particular, law enforcement officers conducted door-to-door rounds of residential buildings, interviewed local residents and established the presence of video surveillance cameras.

The police managed to establish that the mother of the baby turned out to be a 22-year-old student of one of the educational institutions of Kharkov. She is a citizen of another country and lives in an apartment building, near which the body of a dead child was found.
At the moment, the woman was hospitalized in the hospital. The child’s body was sent for a forensic medical examination to establish the causes of his death.
Law enforcement officers entered information about the incident into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Art. 117 (deliberate murder by a mother of her newborn child) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The 22-year-old girl faces up to 5 years in prison.
