According to the investigation, the suspect, without completed medical education and appropriate qualifications to administer anesthesia, administered a large amount of local anesthesia to the client in a short period of time. He exceeded the recommended amount of the drug at least 15 times.
The woman died as a result of severe poisoning and an overdose of local anesthetic.
She ignored the patient’s complaints of discomfort and continued to administer the drug, then left the office, leaving the victim in a helpless state without personal observation for approx. 15 minutes.
“During this time, the woman’s well-being decreased. She screamed, choked, had hallucinations, convulsions. Even after the patient lost consciousness, he was given only antiallergic drugs. On the way to the hospital, the woman died, according to the decision of the forensic medical examination commission, the cause of her death was severe poisoning with an anesthetic drug,” the report says.
A 33-year-old cosmetologist was notified of suspicion under Part 1 of Art. 119 (murder by negligence) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The consent of the article provides for up to five years in prison.
