In Kharkiv, summonses are handed out to all men aged 18 to 60 right on the streets

In the center of Kharkov, law enforcement officers are handing out summonses to all men of military age.

This was reported by the local newspaper Newsroom.

The publication also quoted a comment from Kharkiv Region Military Commissioner Vladimir Arap, who said that summonses were indeed handed out to all men of military age (18-60), but that did not mean sending them to the front.

“We call on all those who are subject to mobilization. This is done to clarify the powers. Everything is happening within the current legislation, no one has been taken away by force and no one has been taken to the front immediately, it is important to understand.
The service of the summons implies that the person must appear in the military register to clarify the data. In addition, those who have not served can be sent to training centers. Those who have served go to military units. You can then ask those boys who have been called up how many of them will go to serve.

There will be a minimum percentage, because we all understand that they have no experience. “Those who have one will go first, the rest will wait for the command to send them to training centers,” the military commissar said.

It should be noted that recently the authorities have been hearing statements about the service of summonses in the streets.

At the same time, the Center for Counteracting Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council said in its Telegram channel that it was legal to serve a mobilization summons on the street or at a checkpoint. However, receiving on the agenda does not mean mobilization.

Earlier, similar explanations were given by the press service of the land forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
