Stärzel noted that for the first time, brands from China are at the top of the ranking. Among them, Chery sold the most cars – 1,914 cars (+ 359% compared to January 2020) and 11th place in the ranking. Haval ranks next with 1,567 vehicles sold (+ 28%).

Another Chinese brand that made it into the top 20 was Geely – 555 cars sold (-28%) and 18th.

The top five on the Russian market were formed by Lada (21 857 units), Kia (15 051 units), Hyundai (10 949 units), Renault (8 534 units) and Skoda (6 036 units).
