In Palermo, Italy, a nurse faked COVID shots for anti-vaxxers so they could get health certificates to travel and access bars, restaurants and public transport. About it informs The Guardian on Monday 17 January.
A hidden camera captured the actions of a 58-year-old nurse working at a vaccination center in the capital of Sicily. The woman drew up a dose of the vaccine into a syringe and then released it into a napkin. Then she would “prick” an empty syringe into the patient’s arm.
In addition, the nurse’s own booster was found to be counterfeit and she was arrested on charges of forgery and embezzlement.
