“In the described message, the defendant sexually sought Sarah Netanyahu, treating her with contempt and in a way that humiliates her gender and sexuality,” the indictment says.
In August 2020, after Drori’s first interrogation, then-Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused the attorney general of scandalously disregarding threats to his family, claiming that he endangers them as a result. In response, the prosecutor said that there was no basis for this allegation.
The next day, Sarah Netanyahu said in an interview that she had experienced sexual violence from protesters who protested against the prime minister because of their genital balls. In the end, Netanyahu filed several complaints with the police about threats to harm him and his family.
