In January-June 2023, funds in the amount of 60 million 449.7 thousand manats were directed to the main capital from all financial sources for the development of economic and social fields. 88.2 percent of the funds or 53 million 333.2 thousand manats were spent on construction and installation works. Compared to the previous year, the volume of funds directed to fixed capital increased by 2.2 times, and the funds spent on construction and installation works increased by 2.5 times. According to the information provided to the regional correspondent of SIA from Imishli District Statistics Office, state-owned enterprises and organizations spent 56 million 818.9 thousand manats on fixed capital, and non-state enterprises spent 3 million 630.8 thousand manats.
48 million 393.8 thousand manats were used in the construction of production facilities, and 12 million 055.9 thousand manats were used in the construction of facilities in the service and social fields.
In January-June 2023, 51.8 percent of the funds directed to fixed capital were spent on agriculture, forestry and fishing, 26.5 percent on industry, 0.3 percent on trade and vehicle repair, 16.5 percent on transportation and storage, 0.1 percent on real estate operations, and 4.8 percent on construction of facilities in service and social sectors.
