Since November 28, the Christmas lights have made the streets of Dijon shine with a thousand lights. They will remain in place until January 3. Discover in pictures the spectacle offered to passers-by in the Burgundy capital.

This year, no Christmas market or ice rink in Dijon due to the Covid-19 epidemic. But there is no way the magic of Christmas will go away completely. The illuminations are there.

Installed since October, they were lit Saturday, November 28. They will shine every night until January 3, 2021.

An 8-meter-high Christmas tree, made up of 360 small trees from the Morvan, stands on the Place de la Liberation opposite the town hall.

Place François Rude also shines with a thousand lights at nightfall to the delight of passers-by.

The triumphal arch in Place Darcy is covered from top to bottom with light.

The Notre-Dame church like that of Saint-Michel sees snow falling on their facades.

The city center is not the only one to have dressed in Christmas colors. Decorated fir trees also brighten up the night at the Fontaine d’Ouche or Place Wilson.
