In case you haven’t noticed, the summer of 2021 has been quite a disaster weather-wise. You only had to set foot in Paris to realize the almost wintry temperatures – no, we’re not overdoing it at all – and the permanent greyness. Well imagine that we are far from the only ones where the sun has decided to take leave.
A little shisha?
While New York is hit by storm Ida, and experiences impressive flooding, this guy has simply decided to see the bright side of things. Isn’t there a better occasion to get out your shisha and your inflatable mattress, and go for a cruise in the streets of New York? Suffice to say that there is one who listened well to his shrink: ” Mickael, no matter the situation, you always have to know how to draw the positive. See the glass half full, Michael. Still. »

State of emergency declared
During the night of Wednesday to Thursday, storm Ida had great damage on the Big Apple. Faced with the flooding of the city and its region, Mayor Bill de Blasio declared a state of emergency and declared that it was ” A historic weather event “. These events follow the passage of storm Ida in Louisiana, where a 19-year-old lost his life, bringing the toll to 7 deaths.

I can’t help but think of the tens of thousands of homeless people living in the bowels of #NewYork.
They would be more than 30,000…
